The 7

Role: identity design, illustration
October 2022
The 7 is a daily podcast from The Washington Post that breaks down the seven most important and interesting stories of the day. I designed the show’s key art, which I created using The 7 newsletter's existing color palette and half-circle logo. The new art now appears across Apple, Spotify and The Post's website.

The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop

Role: branding, illustration
October 2023
“The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop” is a Peabody award-winning investigative podcast from The Washington Post. The series follows journalist Martine Powers as she raises new questions about a 40-year-old mystery on the Caribbean island of Grenada.

I was tasked with developing the show’s visual identity. I spent weeks attending meetings with The Post's audio team to better understand the story, and looked through hundreds of archival documents and photos they collected as I began putting together ideas. My research and illustrations resulted in the show’s key art and other assets below.

How Biden Leads

Role: art direction
March 2024
